Re: Anyone else in Maine?

I'm in South Portland, trying to get my son's huge stash of Fuzzibunz properly adjusted so they stop leaking but don't leave such deep elastic marks on his waist and legs.

Joined DS to get some gdiapers and see if I like them any better (I've tried a couple of the small size gpants, but I think he's going to need the mediums pretty soon and I might get a better fit if I got a bigger size and fastened them more snugly)

Re: Anyone else in Maine?

Just looked up BumGenius: are you using the hook and loop or snaps? I'd think the velcro would be easier, but do they both have that back elastic? Most importantly, are they WORKING for you?

I have both, but most of them are snaps. The velcro is ok, but wears out after abotu a year or so and starts to look a little ratty (any velcro diaper will do this, not just BG).. but i MUCH prefer the snaps. they stay looking new I have been using them for 17 months, and my snap ones still look pretty new!

Yes the BG have back elastic, and all of the elastic is very gentle on the skin but contains poop really well... i adore my BG!!! They make up about 95% of my stash... cant say enough good about them! I have never ever had one delaminate or had the PUL crack...nothing. they are workhorse diapers for sure!

ETA: Plus their resale value is quite good and they are always pretty popular on the FSOT boards!
