Top loader wash routine

We are staying temporarily at my ILs until we find a new home, and they have a top loader (woohoo!). BUT it is a very basic one. There is a soak cycle, delicate, casual and regular cycle with the ability to select short, medium or long length cycles, and cold/cold, warm/cold or hot/cold. No prerinse or extra rinse.

I'm doing my first load of diapers, and first realized that the tide f&g liquid I have was he version. So I dumped a bit over the 3 line into the drum before adding the dipes, then selected a short cold/cold cycle. When it's done I was going to do a long hot/cold cycle.

Sound good? Any other suggestions?

Posting from my iPhone, hope it's legible
