So how much bulkier are pfs than flats?? And Imagine PF ?

Anybody have opinions? Pics? I LOVE flats, but trying to keep up with the laundry these days seems to be almost impossible, so I'm considering selling them and buying some Imagine Smart Fit pfs just to make laundry a bit less work. I love the trim factor of flats though, so I'm uncertain if I want to give them up.
Also, if you use Imagines, are they good for snappiing or boingoing? Or only for trifolding?

Lol. I was just thinking the opposite... I want to trade in my Imagine Smartfits for flats! I think the smartfits are great for snappi'ing. I've just found that I like trifolding better and I think the flats lay down nicer. I have both unbleached Imagine flats and unbleached Imagine prefolds, and I find that the flats are much softer!

Infant prefolds (or smalls) are almost exactly the same size as a 27x27 flat padfolded. But a flat folded and snappi'd is trimmer than any prefold pinned or snappi'd. Well I guess a preemie on a toddler might be trimmer if you could actually do it.LOL. The larger sizes (mediums and up ) of prefolds are bulkier than flats. Thats just from my experience.
