Although I am happy and excited about my appointment today I am also nervous and scared. What if we don't hear a heartbeat? What if something is wrong? I hate when I do this to myself....

Hope all goes well. I had my appt this morning and felt the same thing. They couldn't find the hb with the doppler for like 2 minutes and I said 'if I don't hear something I'm going to go home freaking out'. She brought on the portable us machine and there it was, sleeping with it's back to us. I have very uncooperative children, even in utero. Anxiety starts from the minute you get pg, at least for me. I keep waiting to feel less anxious and more excited. And I just feel like a mess because I have to do an early glucola because my last baby was so big. Boo! Good luck today!

my next appt isn't til may 14th and it's been about 2 weeks since my last appt. i've been feeling great about the babies, but doubt is starting to trickle back in again. i guess that means i need to see the babies every 2 weeks to not start worrying i think i'm going to order a doppler to keep my mind at ease!

how did it go? The last two pregnancies, I have had huge anxiety and dread before that initial appt. and I have no idea why....maybe hormones?
