Re: True confessions of a slapdash ECer

One time DD had to poop on the side of the road, and I didn't have a.single.plastic.bag in the car. So I left it. A giant pile of mushy, unformed baby poop. :hides:

I do that too!

I also keep a large cup in the car in case my baby takes a nap and has to go before we can get in somewhere.

I once let my daughter poop in a Tupperware that was my mothers. (Road trip, long story!)

When my LO was a newborn, I used to get peed on a lot while nursing.

I have forgotten to pull down my daughter's pants and put her on the toilette.

I'm sure I'll think of more.

The tupperware reminded me of the time I pottie dd in a wetbag in the car! I just rolled down the top and held it around her bum, worked fine!

My DS poops in a potty in the van. I've always just dumped it in some bushes/grass sonewhere by the road or edge of a parking lot

What do others normally do?!

Re: True confessions of a slapdash ECer

We visited my parents back in Oct when my DS was 4 months old. My parents were freaked about the fact that my son was naked frequently and there was a threat of pee/poop on the floor. We just went back there a few weeks ago, and the running joke if I needed for him to go potty was to just put him on the rug naked because he was sure to go! Sad but true, he's a stubborn pottier
And I agree, pee does dry fast and doesn't stink until the toddler years. Why create more laundry by changing when you get wet!
