Mei tai back carry help?
So, I'm working on getting my dd into a nice high back carry with the babyhawk. I can get her in and the straps pulled up fine, but it is really hard for me to get the straps across her back. I'd like to cross them, twist, an pull under her legs before tying in front.
I don't seem to have either the shoulder flexibility or the technique to get them high enough while still keeping tension on the straps. Any hints? Thanks! |

Hi again
I tend to pull the straps down low and cross them lower then kind of pull them out to get the "x" where I need it to be- if that makes sense? I woudl check youtube also as there are a bunch of videos there that might help if you just search for mei tai

Thank you. They always get stuck under her feet! I did manage to get it the other day and it was super comfy and supportive, but it took a lot of trial and error.
I have watched some videos and it looks like they just effortlessly pull them over! |
