Re: May NEEDS to be a "Minimal spending month" for us. Anyone else?

I really need to be on a spend as little as I can this month....our CC bill this month was 2200....600 of that is plane tickets for my brothers wedding, and 100 is summer clothes for the kids, and new shoes...but OUCH that hurts

Gah I feel like a failure already. Dh and I both needed some new clothes so I think we've spent $280 just on clothes. And yesterday was my mom and dad's anniversary and we spent $20 going out to eat. I have managed to sell a few things though.

Spent $168 at whole foods today. We only go about once a month but I always spend too much there.

Ugh. Darn pregnancy craving for a chimichanga from a local restaurant here was $15.23 after tip. $30 something for evening primrose oil, alum foil, cat food, and pantyliners from the supermarket (bananas & milk don't count since we're still within our monthly grocery budget). $8.79 at the Vitamin Shoppe for red raspberry leaf supplement. And then $22 in DH's gas tank. It all adds up so fast.

I haven't been doing great, but at least I've been making more selling stuff off than what we're spending so most of it hasn't been "out pf pocket" money.

Yesterday was finally a $0 day, but I think today we may need to get some charcoal for a cookout.
