Re: Best kids lunch boxes?
I bought my ds2 a planet box and my ds1 ecolunchboxes. They are both stainless steel and have held up really well. Kinda pricy especially the planet box but it stands up to my 7 year old boy very well. He loves that it is made like a tray and his food is separated. It is kind of heavy though but should be fine for a 5 year old. I am looking for something less heavy for my dd until she can pack one then I will get her one as well.

Re: Best kids lunch boxes?
My kids use Laptop Lunchboxes and didn't have trouble opening the container in kindergarten. My 2nd grader still uses it and we've not had any issues. No lost pieces since he doesn't use the garbage can, and nothing distorted or ripped, etc. I expect he'll tire of it before it wears out. I'll probably get him something else in 4th grade and hand his Laptop down to DS2 for kindergarten.
We put them in LE bags and put a Thermos in the outside pocket. |
