1st in forms & 1st in sparing at my TaeKwonDo tournament again this weekend! I hurt my foot in last week's tournament (also got 1st & 1st), didnt spar or kick with it ALL WEEK and beat a girl that was almost half my age (19!, I'm 30 ) by 7pts (they end the match when you're ahead by 7) in the second round. I'm sitting at home with it propped up & a bag of ice on it now I'll be taking it easy until nationals in July for sure.my trophies from today ![]() ![]() and the boys and our trophies & medals from last weekend, DS1(blue shirt) wearing his 2nd place forms medal & holding his 3rd place sparing trophy & my 1st place sparing trophy with DS2 wearing his 3rd place forms medal (he doesn't spar yet) & my 1st place forms medal ![]()

Rhett- What did the doctor say about your foot? Yesterday- we did yard work for about 4 hours and I biked for 40 mins. We finished a lot of the projects around the house, though there are still more!!! |

Foot is totally flared up again and I'm in a very sour mood because of it. I have my dr's appt at 9am tomorrow! Will see what he says.

This morning I did Week 2 of Ripped In 30 and it kicked my butt. I plan on doing 60 minutes of lifting later this afternoon.
I think I need some more cardio in my life. I have a treadmill but prefer to run outside (run 3 to 4 days a week) and I also have an upright bike. The bike I have is old and doesn't work well so I don't like to use it. After I finish ripped in 30 I wanna do another DVD that is more cardio based. I already do strength training with free weights and I think I need some more cardio to help get my heart rate up for calorie burning. I want to keep the workout at about 30 minutes. I would love to be able to do an hour long session but my children will not keep themselves busy for that long. Any recommendations on what I should try next?

I have started working regularly and I'm doing Crossfit. We do WOD's (workout of the day). We did Fight Gone Bad...
"Fight Gone Bad" 1 minute max reps of: Wall Ball Sumo Deadlift High Pull Box Jumps Push-Press Rower(calories) 1 minute rest 3 rounds I used a lot less weight then they recommend because my friend and I are in the process of building our own garage gym and we just don't have a lot of the stuff we need, but we make due. It was a good/hellish workout!

Hey ladies. Rest day today. Will get the results of my MRI at 230pm today and find out if I'm clear to run or not. Feeling very down in the dumps about it right now.

My husbands Aunt wants to start running and asked me to help her, so today we went out and did run/walk intervals for 20 minutes. I also did my weight lifting.
