Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
Jackson or Jaxon is really popular and common around here, but I still love it. Had my bff not named her son Jackson, it would have been on my list.

Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
Maybe we will use it anyway, or maybe it will be a girl, and we'll have to start all over again.

Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
My daughter will never have a name.
My second son was not named until after he was born... HA. And I lost sleep over it. I love his name though, and it really fits him. I also really like the name Jackson. We thought of using it for our second son, but our last name ends in "son" and it just didn't flow.

Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
We named our first about 5 years before she was born. The minute we heard we were having a girl we knew it was Rachel. This time I have known it is a girl since March and she is nameless. Our list is about 15 names right now. I'm 23 weeks and getting desperate. We too read all the books. I found him online typing in name meanings in a baby name site and he is so hands off about babies. I personally think it gets harder with additional pregnancies. I had so many things planned out before #1, the name, car seat, bedding. I've got nothing this time.

I read the name Jaxxon years ago in a book. It was as a girls name. I just loved it... but DH wouldn't go for it.

Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
Ugh, me too! I have a girl name I adore, and my mama-intuition says this is a girl, but if it's wrong... then I got nothin'! lol I have boys names that are okay, but I haven't found "the one" yet.
*technically* I still have 18 weeks (well, 16 weeks just to be safe), but I'm feeling a little stressed about it!

Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
I feel your pain! There are names that DH and I both like, but not LOVE. I had a girl name all picked out and of course it's a boy.
We named DD when she was 2 days old (the beauty of homebirth) and I feel like her name suits her perfectly. I might just name this one after his birth too.

Re: this baby is gonna be nameless
I felt the same way! I thought for sure that out child would never have a name. We went through so many and never liked one. Then we were out and about and it just came to us. When we were least expecting it. You will find something that you love before the baby is here. Just be patient. Good luck!
