Re: Ok I'm a little freaked out

my dd is just 2 so hopefully we have about 10 years before we have to deal with this! i started my cycle when i was 9. i had to start shaving before then, i have really dark hair and my underarms were really hairy! i also had to start wearing deodorant when i was 7 or 8. i didn't get pimples until i was closer to 11-12. i had super oily skin up until i got pregnant. i developed breasts early too. my 2 sisters started developing later than i did though.

Re: Ok I'm a little freaked out

My 9 yr old dd has also had break outs on her nose a couple of times recently. She is a skrawny little thing and I am almost positive she will be a late bloomer like I was. My 12 yr old dd is a totally different story as she looks like she is 16! Girls usually start AF approx a year (give or take) after their breast buds develop and that is what happened with her.

My sister used to get those at that age. She did develop early but didn't get her period until 6th grade.

Re: Ok I'm a little freaked out

Both of my girls get little whiteheads. A few months ago I started teaching them to take care of their skin (w/ natural products) and it has cleared up a bit.
