My checks didn't work?

Anyone have a problem with your formula checks (meaning the coupons that look like checks) not going through? I used the same style one at a different store of the same chain (Target) just about a week before and it worked. I bought the same formula this time. The only difference being it was for $4 off instead of $5 off and the expiration date about 2 weeks later. I was baffled and really annoyed!

FYI- these are the only 2 times I have ever used checks...I just bought generic formula with my older kids. We are using Enfamil Nutramigin with DD

Did you have them call a manager? Sometimes they need to push special buttons or turn a key.

I'm guessing the cashier didn't know how to enter them. I know at target they have to enter them as rebate checks, not coupons. Next time I would as for the manager if they say they wont work....as long as they are within the time frame there should be no problem.

She ran it through the check scanner...but, I'll still ask for a MGR next time :-)

I had this happen to me last week at Target. She ran it through the check reader and it rejected it. She just put it in as a coupon. Maybe there is something wrong with their system? Mine was for $5 off good start though.

Yeah she did it wrong. I work at Target and the first time i had a guest give me one of those checks i was completely baffled by it. There is a function for rebate checks ( or something like that) that takes the cashier through a special process for redeeming those. Definitely ask for a supervisor next time =0)
