Question need help with srinking wool?

i bought some knit shorties for really cheap, but they are too big ds will not fit them until probably feb or later. so i was hoping someone could help me with shrinking them? like do i wash them then dry? do i need too remove the lanolizing stuff? how long will i need too dry them?

There is no way to shrink wool.

It is either the size it is, or felted, which will make it WAY smaller.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

It is possible to slightly felt it.I don't recommend it but it is possible.I guess just wash as usual then put in the dryer.Keep checking ever couple minutes until you get what you want.Honestly i wouldn't do it.It Won't be stretchy after felted.Just my opinion.
