Re: What age did you start giving your baby table food?
I think it was around 8 or 9 months for both of my boys.

Re: What age did you start giving your baby table food?
We started giving him some solid food at 8 months old. He likes it though we have to limit still since at his age he is still a baby and we need to be very careful as well.

Re: What age did you start giving your baby table food?
my 4 month old stole from my plate the other day. he has been showing signs of readiness for about a month, so i am not surprised. he stole a bean. then got pissed when it was too big for him mouth and i took it away to peel the skin off and give him a smaller bite.

Re: What age did you start giving your baby table food?
From around 6 months, we'd give DS big chunks of stuff to gnaw on- without too many teeth, they won't be able to get off pieces big enough to choke on! As an added bonus, they learn to chew and experience different textures in their mouth- things that purees don't allow. At 16 mos, my DS (so far!) isn't picky, and I attribute that to "eating what the rest of the family eats" from an early age.
