Diaper Swappers

is there a secret to putting them on to prevent leaks? I've heard a lot of people complain about leaking, but i think they're so cute so i just bought 2 of them from the FSOT. I just wanted to see if there are any tricks out there on how to put them on!

Also-what inserts do you use for a heavy wetting 1 yr old?!

I used them with prefolds and never had a problem, even when trifolded.

We used them for awhile, with my dd I could use gcloth with my yds I had to tri fold a of. Change as often as you would a pf.

I watched a tutorial on youtube that really helped. She showed how after laying it on him she pulled up on the front of it to pull that liner elastic tight. It definitely helped us. And having enough absorbancy as PPs said.

Overall we gave up on them and it was kind of hit and miss wit them. I think at certain stages they just fit the shape of our baby well, then sometimes she was too skinny or something.

We love gpants. As long as I get the nylon liner tucked in his first thigh roll they are leak proof!

They were hit or miss on the fit with dd, but I love using them with DS. I read somewhere not to tighten them, but to put them on just snugly and don't second guess it too much. Maybe its just a learning curve.

We started using gdiapers for daycare when my son was about 6 months old. He's still using them now at almost 2 years old. We love them and so do the daycare teachers. I'm not sure what the trick is to getting them put on so they don't leak - it hasn't been a problem even with multiple teachers diapering him. Maybe we're just lucky and our son is just the right shape for the style of diaper. We've always used trifolded Cottonbabies prefolds in ours - they worked great at 6 months in the med gpants and they still work great at 2 years in the XL gpants.
