Formula Feeding Mamas??

Any other mamas out there formula feeding or combo feeding? Want to talk about it?

I am! BFing and I don't get along at all. Letdowns made me depressed etc. Right now we are using Enfamil Gentlease, but it seems to cause silent reflux so we are ging to try similac sensitive before going to an AR or RS formula. DH is out picking up some now. I just hope we won't have to use a special formula. I know similac sensitive was what worked with DS and he threw up his bottles when on other formulas.

I hate finding the formula and it always makes me feel a bit bad bfing isn't something I enjoy and stopped.

My daughter is 6mo now, I BF during the day and give one bottle of formula (enfamil) at nighttime and sometimes add a little "comfort BF" after that bottle. It seems to satisfy her more since she's not waking up for feeding (IDK, it's my impression at least). Ive been doing this since she was past 4mo bc she kept waking up and i couldnt do it anymore.
And since I have a lot of breast milk in freezer, I also give her that before we leave for summer months to Europe so it doesn't get waisted.

IMO combo feeding is all right as long as you feel comfortable about it.
I use NUK orthodontic nipples, no nipple confusion here. Pacis too.
As for which formula to choose, I don't have much experience - my DD#1 was EBF until 12mo and refused the bottle.
