I realize where you birth and how you birth is very personal so I am not trying to say one way is superior to any other just FYI. But I found an article that really supports my decision to search out other prenatal care than your standard OB/GYN from consumer reports; I've had both my parents and my husband read it and I think it really helps them to understand.

So I just wanted to share this with any other mamas who might find it helpful like I did.

mother trucker! why can't I remember to get some dang prenatals!! article just reminded me thanks... one thing I think should be added to, the breech baby one.. a woman should know that there are other things besides just turning a baby, and c-section, how about birthing it the way it is! at least looking into it.

So true! This is why we're skipping a hospital birth this time around and opting for an actual stand alone birth center (DS was born in a birth center attached to a hospital). Hoping that all my desires will be met this time around.

I saw this article too and shared it on FB. I love seeing more "mainstream" news sources acknowledge that the medical model of birth isn't really best speaking in general terms.
