Any Christian Breastfeeding moms out there? I was told by a mom that I should not

If talking about breastfeeding is not appropriate for christians to talk about in public than the bible should be banned from church.

Luke 11:27 blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts at which you nursed.

Psalms 22:9 you made me trust you at my mother's breasts.

Song of Solomon 8:1 Oh that you were like a brother to me who nursed at my mother's breasts!

There are many more places in both the christian greek scriptures and the hebrew scriptures that refer to breastfeeding mothers as the normal experience that it should be.

Yeah, she iso being ridiculous. the reality is that men think about breasts a lot, and the word is in the bible, so should they not read the bible just in case they think about something that they shouldn't? Everyone needs to learn self control, and know what breasts were designed to function as. The bible refers to breasts as nourishing babies/children and also arousing to ones mate, so making references to the nursing of a child is perfectly within christian boundaries.
Now if you knew specifically that a man in the congregation battled an addiction to ****ography, or something of that sort, I might be more careful with what I said, but it would be unusual that I would have that information anyway.

My pastor said the word "breastfeeding" during a sermon a few weeks ago. I'll let him know that apparently the whole congregation was sinning in their minds thinking inappropriately about boobs.

Geesh.

My husband (who is EXTREMELY protective of me, but not controlling), said the only reason he doesn't like me to NIP is because he doesn't want any guy's attention to go to my boobs. He prefers to have them all to himself in the sexual sense, but is very, very supportive of me nursing our children past infancy.

LOL me too - I sit in the second pew....I am CERTAIN the pastor knows what I am doing and probably most of the people near me. It's the way God intended babies to eat. Yes breasts are sexual objects - THEY ARE!!! But they are ALSO FOOD!!! My mom always says she is so glad that her sons stayed interested in breasts after weaning... (meaning they like women) ;-)
