Re: increasing supply???
It works ok, actually tastes pretty good with a tiny bit of sugar and milk in it. It doesn't incerase the supply drastically more like gradually, but it does seem to increase over time. I've usedit with thelast 3 babies but I haven't needed to with this one yet.

Re: increasing supply???
I used it with DS1 in addition to taking Fenugreek and drinking tons of water. I was EPing (not by choice) for him and within a month I was able to double my supply.

Re: increasing supply???
I went for a quicker approach and just started pumping... added some b6 and massive extra liquids and I was over flowing... it was harder to get it back under control than it was to increase. ouch.

Re: increasing supply???
Pumping after and/or inbetween feedings is good, nursing baby a lot is good too...the more stimulation the better. It doesn't matter what you take, if you do not stimulate enough your milk will not increase (at least in my experience).

Re: increasing supply???
If you avoid pacifiers etc and just put baby to breast any time he/she needs to suck you will be amazed how quickly your supply will increase. If you do that and take a lactogenic herb (mother's milk tea has some in it) I like to think of it as the herb is just maximizing your results from the added stimulation :-)

Re: increasing supply???
i started drinking it after i went back to work and was pumping for my son. i found it quite helpful actually. i didn't see much difference with fenugreek or blessed thistle, or any of the other remedies commonly suggested. but, regularly drinking 3 cups of mother's milk tea a day did seem to make a difference. it never really got my supply up to where i was able to provide him with all the bm he needed, but i did feel it helped some.
i used the traditional medicinals brand, and i really liked the taste too i prefer my tea plain with no milk or sugar or anything, so imo, with or without, it's fairly tasty

Re: increasing supply???
I used Mother Milk Tea for support for a couple months after ds was born. It increased supply slightly, I'm currently using More Milk Two by Motherlove and it's helping sooo much. Was pumping 3 oz total each pumping session last week, this week 6 oz.

Re: increasing supply???
I drink a cup of it every morning with a little honey in it. It does taste yummy too. I feel like it worked gradually as well. Drinking lots of water is a must and extra pumps in the morning are best. Your body for some reason will make more milk in the beginning of the day, so if you want to up your supply pump an extra session in the morning.
