Road trip to Louisville, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Nashville
We're planning a road trip from St. Louis through Louisville, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Nashville, and then to Kentucky Lake. We are planning on visiting the homestead at land between the lakes in Kentucky because I liked it as a child. Other than that though we are open for suggestions. Any must sees? Or things that you thought would be good but weren't or were too over crowded?

The Mammoth caves are awesome! They are near where you are going.
Lexington ky is beautiful (50 min from Louisville) with an awesome castle, turned into a hotel. It is on the way to natural bridge, one of my kids favorite places to hike. |

Nashville actually has some really nice museums, historic homes, etc. The zoo is pretty good, too. You thinking of anything in particular?
