Your favorite books about feeding babies....

DS #2 is 3 months old, and I want to start reading something about feeding babies....I feel like I screwed up with DS#1. He has an egg allergy, which eliminates a lot from his diet anyway, and he is a seriously picky eater. He is "texture intolerant" with a lot of foods - veggies, meat, lots of grains. He doesn't like how they feel in his mouth, so he spits 'em out. Mostly he wants to eat fruit, dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt), bread, and junk food (obviously, we try to limit this). Can you recommend any good books for me? Tell me what's been most helpful for you! I want this baby to eat better/healthier than the first!

I really like Whole Foods for Babies and Toddlers. The LLL catalog has it, and it's frequently on special with Whole Foods for the Whole Family, which is good, too.

Oh, BIG fan of Super Baby Foods, can't remember the author's name, as I have lent it out.....BUT, it rocks. It teaches you when to introduce certain foods, but my favorite part is that you will learn to make all of your own baby foods. I did it with my triplets & I'll do it again with #4. There are so many wholesome foods to give baby that are just not in the jars. My kiddos favorite was avocado. Good luck!

For good recipes for each stage I really like The Petite Appetit.
