Re: Longies in the summer

I live in NorCal and we get a nice sea breeze at night and so it does get chilly in the evenings. There is probably 12 or so nights during the year that it doesn't cool off, but I can deal with that. I run my ceiling fan on high and windows open all night and the newbie will be sleeping in my room so I have longies knit up for her to wear and stay nice and cozy.

Yeah.
I put mine in longies pretty much all summer with the A/C or fans going and then shorties or a soaker if we go out. We get about 2 months of warm weather.

Re: Longies in the summer

My dh used to work in Knoxville and Des moines we lived close to both.

I keep a few pairs on hand. Where we live is HUMID and really hot but we have wood floors and with the AC on it can get pretty chilly. we also go to the beach at night a lot so there is a pretty decent drop in temperature. We only live a few miles away from it but yesterday when I left my house it was in the low 80's and when I was by the water it dropped to 63.

Re: Longies in the summer

You could convert them to shorties pretty easily if you knit or know someone that does! That's what I did with some of mine

I know! Em wore some shorties last week but we're back in our longies thanks to our lovely liquid sunshine here.
