Jogging stroller?
I was running 20-25 miles a week last summer...and then I got pregnant. I'm now getting ready to restart, this time with my LO in tow. I have been researching jogging strollers, and while I would LOVE a BOB revolution sadly it is out of our budget, even used. Any suggestions for a perfectly adequate and cheaper stroller? I will be running on sidewalks in a slightly hilly area. Thanks in advance!

Re: Jogging stroller?
I have a slightly older version of this Baby Trend jogger that I bought for $20 at a yard sale. My dh had to do a little work to the front tire...but it pushes very easily!! I don't jog with it...but I am able to push it one handed while walking my dog and chasing my 5 year old.

I just bought my bob dualie revolution and LOVE it! The only issue is its an outdoor stroller, not indoors!
I bought mine on zoostores.com and paid $450 BRAND NEW! Don't know if you can swing that, personally I had to! This is my only "mommy time" |

Re: Jogging stroller?
I really like my "baby jogger" I found on craigslist for 160. And by baby Jogger II (double) I got from the consignment store for 90. These are no frills strollers without cupholders or lots of plastic parts. I think it's one of the most lightweight joggers on the market. I believe these are advertised for more serious runners who are going kinda fast and doing many miles because of how lightweight they are, but they work well for anyone. Keep looking around...I think used is the way to go on these things because so many people try to start working out with their babies and just don't continue.

Re: Jogging stroller?
I got a Croozer kid for 2 (they make one that's just for one too.) I paid around $300 for mine. I love love love it. The only color the double comes in is a bright green color but it's really cute (I think). It's a walking stroller, jogging stroller and a bike trailer all in one. I love this option b/c I can bike to the park and then turn it into a jogger to push inside the park or to run with. It even has a trunk to put our lunch in. I cannot say enough about this stroller/bike trailer.
