My ods loves the Gary Paulsen books. He also is reading the Percy Jackson books right now. I will keep and eye on this thread because we need recs too.

Anything by Rick Riordan, the Gregor the Overlander Series by Suzanne Collins, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Hobbit. That's what DS#1 has been reading lately.
