We have finally made the plunge!

My husband has always loved a pickup truck and has driven one since we met 11 years ago. After 5 kids, however, even quad cabs don't cut it anymore. Our other trucks are an Expedition and an Excursion but he always considered those my "family" vehicles. Well, a couple years ago we got an old 1969 FJ Cruiser and driving that became his fun vehicle and his pickup was only used for moving stuff. Now he realizes when he has to tell a kid they cannot go because he doesn't have room for them is NOT fun and he softened on his "gotta have a pickup!" stance.

And then the dealership is running a special where we can get an additional credit on trade ins. We have 5 now but we are also ttc which means even our Excursion will be full. So all of these arguments on my side, I got him to agree to trade in the Expedition and pickup for a 15 passenger van! I picked out two from the dealer website and now we are just waiting for them to come back with a proposal for trading in the 2 vehicles. If I like their numbers, we will be bringing home an E350 and gone will be the days of side by side bickering! I am pretty excited!

That is exciting. My husband drives a pickup truck and can only ever take our oldest with him. We are done at 4 but I am a little envious of your soon to be van

We seriously LOVE our excursion diesel!!!! Congrats on the van!! What will u do w all of the room!?!?

We love our Diesel Excursion, too! I would buy another if I could find one! We figure when we go fishing we can take out the back couple of seats and fill it with coolers. In Alaska, we are allowed 80 salmon for our family and when they run, they run hot for a week or so. We need lots of space for coolers to fill up the freezers AND will still have room for the little people! I am almost giddy and the husband is seeing all the possibilities. Now, to just get him to stop calling it a Church van!
