Dye not set

I have two pair of longies that the dye was not set or may have been overdyed I don't know. My question is, can I do anything about the dye that has now bled onto the natural areas of the longies. Would the rit dye remover help or would it pull all the dye? I am rather frustrated by this, but I should have done some research to see that many dyers have issues getting dye to set on sw.

I wouldn't use the dye remover.
I know Kumfy Kozies has a good method for dealing with this, maybe try to pm her, she is very helpful.
use cold water, wash with dawn to get out the excess dye. And then try to reset it with vinegar, but be careful it could be your water or the type of wool wash you are using and the length of soaking time.
I know some mamas put a bit a vinegar in every wash, to keep the dye were it is supposed to be, just in case of bleeding. red and black seem to be the worst colors
