Peg Perego Pliko Stroller...for 3 kids???
just curious if anyone here owns this stroller and would recommend it for 3 kids. i do baby wear quite a bit so i'm thinking we might be able to make it work. i would rather go a bit smaller than have some big monster and then never want to mess with it
this is at the top of our budget but we could make it work or possible search for a used one on cragslist.in august... --DD will be 5.5 --DS will be 2.5 --brand new baby girl ![]() my oldest daughter would rarely use it but there may be an occasion where, (after being out all day or something) she would want to stand on the ride-on board in the back. i would then either wear the baby and DS would ride or baby would ride and DS would walk along side. right now we are also thinking about a sit n' stand but the seats don't recline much and i've heard mixed reviews about ease of steering. i don't know if my tall little man would be very comfortable if he fell asleep. thanks for your help!

Re: Peg Perego Pliko Stroller...for 3 kids???
Mine are 5, 3, and 14 months. I have two strollers I love...(we have had about 15 total).
1) Mountain Buggy Double Jogger. We use it for in the neighborhood and long days out. It pushes like a dream, though the sun canopy sucks. If I had to do it over, I'd get a BJCM Double. It lives in my living room because it weighs a TON and a half. 2) Graco Ready2Grow. I love that it is very versitile. Baby can face me with older kid in front, and then it becomes a much nicer sit and stand than the others on the market. It pushes much better than the Joovy. This lives in the car for quick in and outs. I have a P3 and like it for one kid. BUT...you can't stand on the back with it reclined, so it won't work as a double for you with a newbie. And I don't love pushing it wearing a baby on the front because it takes 2 hands to steer.

I just generally hate my switch (same as the regular plinko but you can remove the seat and turn it etc) I would never recommend counting on this stroller for the stand function - it's a bit of a jopke if you ask me!!!
I would definitely look for something else. |

Re: Peg Perego Pliko Stroller...for 3 kids???
I guess I'm odd man out here but I have the stroller and love it. I agree though that you can't recline the seat and still be able to ride on the back. My older 2 have both ridden on the back though without a problem. I hated the bulkyness of the sit and stand and doubles. FWIW my 3 kids are each 2 years apart.

Re: Peg Perego Pliko Stroller...for 3 kids???
The front seat on the Ready to Grow does recline, though not all the way.
My Target has them now. You might find them somewhere local to see.

Re: Peg Perego Pliko Stroller...for 3 kids???
I love our P3 too :-) My oldest at almost 50 pounds is too tall/heavy to ride on the back, but last year it was AWESOME for him. The stroller is one of the best out there IMO and I too have tried many, including the sit and stand and Joovy caboose, which are both awful IMO. If you are going to need a double stroller, get a double stroller, but depending on where you live and how much you are going to be out this summer with the newbie, you may not need a true double - by next spring/summer, your DS probably won't be using the stroller at age 3.5 - unless you live in a warm climate where it is stroller weather year-round :-)
