Re: Age gap between kids...pros & cons please.
My oldest was 4 years 8 months when my youngest was born. She is super mature, and really lobes her baby sister. It was nice because she went to preschool in the morning the first year, so it gave me time just to bond with the baby. Even with my husband deploying 2 weeks after she was born it was such an easy transition, but once my oldest started kindergarten a year later my little looked so sad. She woke up in the morning calling her sister's name. They were best friends, that's when we started discussing having number 3 closer than the first two, since he missed the first year he wasn't 100% yet, Mr wanted time to bond, but he quickly saw what i did. He left for training for two months and decided we would try when he got back. And here we are 3 months left until the new baby will get here (not 100% how the transition will be yet, bit we signed her up for a couple day a week preschool to starting a few weeks before babyarrives, and hoping she will be potty trained by then too.

Re: Age gap between kids...pros & cons please.
There's 22 months between my DS1 and DD1 and then 22 months between DD1 and DS2 so that's all I know. Is it hard? Sure. They are all still very needy at 4, 2.5 and 9 months. Some days I feel like I'm constantly feeding, changing, bathing, entertaining someone, but that's just how it is right now. Having two in diapers isn't bad at all, it's just overall it's hard, but worth it. My oldest two have so much fun together, I can't wait for my youngest to join in!
