I need recipes for a pork butt. Preferably crock pot and not barbecue. The plan is to use half for a roast type meal (this is the recipe I need) maybe with mashed potatoes or egg noodles- just something roast like. Then the rest will be shredded for pulled pork. But usually when I do a pork roast we just go straight for the pulled pork. Wanted to do something a little different this time.

The issue with pork butt in the crockpot is that it will probably fall apart. If you want it to be like a roast you may want to use the oven. I do mine with carrots.
, apples and onions and pour in a cup or so of apple juice. I use the juice and drippings to make gravy after skimming fat. Its good with rice too.

We loves pork butt with 1 jar salasa, some (about 2 tablespoons), chili powder and 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder. And a little salt. Put in crockpot low 8 hours

great for tacos.

This one is great, I half the chipotles or it's way too spicy for kids.
