Quick - Airport Security Question

So I just went thru a backscatter security screening at sfo and I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I researched this weeks ago and totally spaced this morning - I knew thru researching that this airport doesn't use the one machine I had concerns about but this machine (backscatter) is a low level x ray machine. I am thinking I should've opted out and freaking out a little. It's super hard to research this from my phone. I have two hours before my flight leaves...someone tell me something reassuring.

Re: Quick - Airport Security Question

The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) claims the potential for dangerous radiation exposure from the backscatter machine is low and that it doesn't pose a significant risk to pregnant passengers.

Re: Quick - Airport Security Question

The radiation you'll be exposed to on the flight is hundreds of times higher than anything you may have been exposed to by the security scanner. Both are well below the levels to cause even minimal risk.
