Re: fuzzi bunz elite absorbency
I agree that they need many washes to reach peak absorbency. I wouldnt count on them to last more than 1-1.5 hrs. Thirsties small inserts in Elites rock! They can last through a 4 hr nap!

Re: fuzzi bunz elite absorbency
When I switched from the old FB OS to the Elites, I did a test of the minky inserts after I was having tons of leaks. (I have washed them maybe 20 times.) The minkys are less absorbent, and if I gently press on a wet one, almost ALL the liquid will run out, even if there was just a few drops of water in there, causing tons of compression leaks. Pressing on the microfiber insert will cause some leakage, but much less than the minky, and only when saturated. I switched back to my old microfiber inserts and I've ordered some bamboo Alva's to double them.
