swelling during pregnancy

i totally understand that its completely normal to swell...but when my feet, ankles, and legs swell my right is like 3 times larger than the left...my doctor is not concerned so im not either...but has this happened to any of you mammas?

I dealt with major swelling during my pregnancy and my right side was always worse than my left. It was my understanding that it was due to a circulation issue on that side of my body. I have trouble with swelling on the right even without being pregnant. Compression hose saved my legs.

I ha alot more swelling with my first two than my last two and this one. The difference is that my mw upped my protein intake similar to Brewer's diet...now I get hardly any at all, yay! Have no idea if it'd help or if you are even interested, but thought I'd throw it out there!

Mine swell pretty equal. As long as there is no redness or pain, then it is likely a circulation issue. Make sure you drink a lot (counter-intuitive, but staying well hydrated helps with water retention), watch salt as much as your cravings will let you, and if you want to try compression hose make sure you get fitted properly, and only buy maternity compression hose, not the kind they stock at the drugstore. http://www.compressionstockings.com/...hose-c-33.html
