I take gummy prenatals. I didn't take them with my daughter because I was so sick all the time, but I figure I can deal with the gummies this time around.

Re: Vitamins?
Davinci Labs whole food prenatals, and liquid vit d on super rainy days/winter time. I also take Nordic Naturals ProDHA and ActiFolate by Metagenics (because I have MTHFR) and occasionally I take Floradix if I feel my iron is low. I truly feel that a whole foods, natural, unprocessed, traditional diet is the only way to grow healthy babies. But, with my inability to stomach a lot in the early months, good quality supplements are necessary for me. If I didn't have access to high quality supplements, I would never take the cheaper alternatives. They are dangerous, IMO, especially to developing babies (food dyes, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, and mercury -
).

I think this is most in line with how I think! I'm glad you said this. We've dramatically changed our way of eating my last pregnancy and this one. So I was wondering if I really even needed anything. I've gotten vitamins from Davinci Labs before... so I'll check into that.

I take Garden of Life Raw prenatals and probiotics, when I can remember to do so.

Yep, I take prenatal vitamins. With my first, I also took vit D, tums for calcium, fish oil, and vit C. I will be starting this regimen again because I just found out I'm preggers this morning.

I take Citranatal Assure. It is a prescribed prenatal vitamin that was recommended by my physician who had just had a child herself. I don't have any problems with it as long as I take it with food.

Re: Vitamins?
I have been taking Rainbow Light Prenatal One for the last year, but these last few days I haven't even been able to stomach the smell enough to get it down. I think I'm going to look into the chewy ones. The chewable ones I saw at the store just didn't seem to compare with all the different supplements in the regular ones.
