How do you get rid of powdery mildew organically?
I've started noticing them a lot on me squash
How can I treat the problem organically?

I have read that diluted chamomile tea and diluted milk can help.

Re: How do you get rid of powdery mildew organically?
The key is prevention. Good ventilation and something like mulch to prevent the leaves from laying in the soil. Remove any infected leaf and toss in the trash. Persionally, I keep the plant off the ground as much as possible. I remove my bottom leaves and since I plant close to double my space, I remove the leaves that overcroud the plants it's touching. It works for me.
I think I read somewhere you could use some dawn water in your sprayer to wash the plant too. I tried that for bugs. It did a great job washing the plant, but that's about it.

Re: How do you get rid of powdery mildew organically?
If I remove the infected leaves, I might as well remove the entire row of plants b/c almost all the leaves have it!
If I was to prune some out so they get better air circulation do I cut the leaf off from the base near the ground? or right below where the leaf meets the stem?

I take all of the stem as well. I'm sorry they are that bad.
That just really stinks! Washing mine with the dawn and water in the sprayer didn't hurt anything. It could be worth a try if they are that bad. I also think I saw a natural spray at Home-depot a cpl days ago for it. I believe it was just copper and soap. GL sweetie!
