I ordered a pair of shoes for my LO from a seller on Amazon. They were supposed to be delivered a week ago but I never got them.

I've ordered from Amazon a billion times and never had a problem. I have no experience with this, at all.

I e-mailed the seller and they replied quickly, gave me the DC# and said it was delivered. I e-mailed them back and said, "Yes, I can see that it says on the USPS website that it was delivered but I do not have it.... It didn't come to me." I'm waiting to hear back from them, probably tomorrow.

I looked at the order status on Amazon and it says it was shipped through DHL

and gives a totally different tracking number.

Is that normal?? It just seems like maybe something got mixed up. Obviously!

So, will I get a refund? My shoes? (LO has grown out of his current pair! He really needs the shoes!

) Do I go through Amazon or the seller? What should I expect??? Are my money and shoes just lost?

What did the DHL tracking number say? Delivered or not?

Whatever tracking is in your order history is what you need to go with, not what the seller personally sent you. And I would go through amazon first personally.

The DHL number that was attached to the amazon order didn't exist. When I entered it on the DHL website, it said "nothing found" or something like that. DH works in supply chain logistics and he said the number for DHL was wrong - too many numbers to be a true tracking number with them. Weird. I don't know what the deal is.

Contract Amazon, but I have had things shipped through DHL that also went through USPS.

Amazon will help you. Once I complained to them that I hadn't received a package that was supposedly delivered, and they resent everything, no questions asked. Then the person in the first floor of the duplex where we were staying brought up the original package. Oops!

yeah - Amazon has always been amazing with customer service...onc eI ordered something to be delivered in 2 days - it was an oops mommy got the wrong thing birthday present...it didn't show up in time for the party (the 2 days). They refunded my money and said keep the item when it finally did arrive.
