Help me understand Pinterest?

So after hearing all these great things about Pinterest, I signed up.

Now I'm just confused... it shows pictures of cool crafts.. but then no directions on how to make them.... or am I just dense and missing something?

How are you supposed to figure out how to make this stuff?

Most of the time if you click the picture it should bring you to the site or blog it was pinned from. Sometimes unfortunately people just pin photos.

So if you're looking a many photos,click one and when it pops up alone, click it again.

You just have to click the pin, it should link back to the original blog or site with instructions

I have a question about pinterest too. I can find the original blog/site a pic has been pinned from, but how do YOU pin a pic/blog/pattern so it's in the pinterest rotation. I think I know how to pin a photo but would like to pin a craft on a blog...not sure how. Anyone know?!

there's an addon for your browser, pretty sure you can download it from pinterest, because it's offered it to me several times and I never have downloaded it.

but it makes everything pinnable.

OP- don't worry.. the first time I got on Pinterest, I just searched and then bookmarked all the things I was supposed to pin so that I wouldn't lose them. silly silly silly

If the one you pin doesn't link to the original, you can search for out through google and just pin it yourself.

When you are on your home page in Pinterest there is a little + sign at the top (and I think it says Add) where you can add a pin. Then you can add the link to it or add your own photo or whatever you want to add).
