Re: nursing pads

I have never liked cloth nursing pads. I have an overactive letdown and need a lot of absorbancy. Pair that with small breasts and there is absolutely zero discretion. I usually end up sticking a prefold on one side while I am home, and love the disposable Lansinoh pads for outings. I also use my arm for counterpressure, iykwim.

ETA- just read your reply, Melissa. Sounds like you can have the same problems with big boobs and small, lol!

Re: nursing pads

I think i have 7 or 8 pairs.

Im another one that leaks on the other boob like crazy when im nursing... and the first several months i leak anytime its close to feeding time or i think about a baby...lots and lots of leaking

i bought one of those milk saver things for this time! im interested to stock up on the milk i leak while nursing to see how much it really is! Once with my last, i put a bottle on my boob when i nursed and had 2 ounces leak out!! That stuff could really add up!!

Re: nursing pads

I don't expect the cloth pads to work at the beginning for sure...so I've got a stash of the Lansinoh ones as well. They are definitely my favorite disposable ones. It is part of the reason that I'm having a hard time forcing myself to make more cloth ones, the Lansinoh ones work pretty well for me. Mostly it drives me crazy to keep having to buy more!
