My easiest/favorite recipe is to take a pork or beef roast and put it in a crock pot with about one cup of pre-made BBQ sauce. It doesn't have to be a good cut of meat because the long slow moist cooking will break the meat down nicely. You can brown the meat, but it's not really necessary. I like to pull the meat (separate into strings/small chunks with forks) and eat it on buns - pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw - yum!! It's also good as a main dish with mashed potatoes, or even over pasta (egg noodles).
