I was reading an article in Hobby Farm magazine that talked about a few good apps for smart phones. Sadly, they were all iphone apps. Anyway, thought it would be fun to see what some of your favorite homesteading apps are. Any good ones out there?

I wanna know to... I saw a garden planning app in better homes and garden and it was for iphone ipad also! I was super bummed! Makes me wanna get my iphone back!

Okay, I do have an iPhone, so obviously all I found are for iPhone/iPad. I only found one homesteading app and it was a pay app (I only do free apps usually). I did find some cool gardening ones though. Here's the 3 I downloaded:

Gardenguide (has articles, planting guides, etc)
Vegcalendar (planting calendar based on your location)
Locavore (so cool! Based on location, tells you what's in season and locates farms and farmers markets for you)
