My potential due dates straddle end of Jan, beginning of Feb and both months are equally likely. I'll just get to know both due date groups!

I always have the thought of twins in the back of my mind though I'm not sure for what reason. I've had much worse nausea this go round so that has me wondering...we shall see!

Nausea in full force now and I can already feel my uterus at 6 weeks...which is unusual for me. I wouldn't be too shocked!

Nah, I was sick from 5 weeks until birth last time, too, so that's nothing new for me. 2 at once, my goodness, I remember the newborn stage too clearly to wish for that. Plus, I'm not actively seeking the challenge of tandem Bf'ing with multiples. That being said, we would obviously be very happy to be blessed such a way if it's meant to be.

Yes, odds of multiple ova and therefore of fraternal twins increase due to IVF, higher age of mother, more pregnancies and a history of fraternal twins on the mother's side (about 1:125 births in Canada). Odds of identical twins are the same for every woman in every pregnancy worldwide, and it's not known what causes the mutation in the fertilized ovum (about 1:250 births everywhere). So how many of us in the ddc?

even though my kids are close I still would love twins my mom had 8 and always wanted twins my great Grandma had 11 and wished for twins every time
