Re: My Children Are Destroying The Playroom

Bad picture but this is our playroom. We have a couch in there now though. I just leave the disaster most days

Gut the playroom. That's what I did. Each kid picked out 3 toys and that was it. Then I labeled the bins with pictures of what was to go into them. Everything had a home and the room was mostly empty. They could swap out for a different toy if they wanted. When they showed they could take of them they got increased to 4 toys....ect. This worked great for us.

We share our living room with toys. It's really a mess now that I have two extra kids here while their daycare provider is on vacation.

It won't let me upload pictures. It's says I'm exceeding my quota. What does that mean?

I'll try again in a minute. This app never works properly!

Beautiful. Our playroom hasn't been set up yet, so the kids still play in the living room.

Re: My Children Are Destroying The Playroom

I wish I had an extra room for a playroom, I love those cubbie pics! When I was a kid, my bro and I used the old bunkhouse out back for our playroom. I wish we had one here, it was awesome!

Eventually we'll semi-finish the basement but until then we have all the toys in the kid's rooms. Right now there is NO organization whatsoever, I'm going to have DH make the kids some of those cube things, they seem to work well for everyone

I LOVE this! I am stealing your idea.

We have one of the 9 cube organizers from Target with the animal bins, they keep the small toys (Littlest Pet Shop, Squinkies, Dolls) in there. Then we have a big bin for stuffed animals, a bin for bigger toys, and they have a bin for their play kitchen food. It definitely needs to be more organized!
