I am so tired of bottles
With dd#1 we ended up with Dr. Browns after some trial and error. Dd had a lot of gas and these are what worked best for her. They were a PITA to clean but they helped dd so I was fine with that. Fast forward she is 10 months and they came out with all the BPA "stuff" so I traded in all of our Dr. Brown's bottles and just went with the playtex drop ins since we would be going to sippy cups soon and she wasn't having as much of a problem with gas. With dd #2 we just used the playtex drop ins again and even though she also had a lot of gas she was fine on these. Now dd#3 has gas and reflux so she spits up a lot. She is not liking the drop ins at all. I got one of the new Similac bottles free with a container of formula dn she likes that bottle much better and spits up a lot less when I use it. So now I have to tell dh that we are going to get rid of the drop ins and buy more of the Similac bottles. Ugh....hopefully I can at least sell the old bottles on ebay or craigslist and pay for most of the new ones.

Re: I am so tired of bottles
there is a coupon right now out for the similac ones. $2 off a bottle. You can purchase them on a coupon clipping website. That may help the pain

I think I have the coupon too. Bottles are so expensive!! DS only likes his Born Free bottles, now I have to get the larger size because the small ones stop at 5 ozs.

Re: I am so tired of bottles
I was SO sick of bottles too. We used Born Free after lots of trial and error. I heard good things about Dr. Browns but like you said, I didn't like all the parts. I would try to sell your other ones on Craigslist I bet someone would buy them!

Re: I am so tired of bottles
I paid $1.27 on ebay for 20 of the $2 coupons and went to Walmart (unfortunately the only place that has them by me right now) and bought some more so I am up to 10. I am hoping that is enough to get us through one day and enough for the next while the others are being washed. I am trying to sell the other ones but in the mean time I did manage to sell my breast pump so that paid for the new bottles.

Re: I am so tired of bottles
Too bad we're not having another baby yet. I liked the drop-ins and was going to keep it but DH accidently donated them. Oh well. I would definitely buy them from you if I was pregnant again. I was so glad to get rid of bottles too, LO had horrible colic and spit up all the time.
