Yes! Both of my girls also. It is the best hospital! My dr is Wellborne from Cenntenial OBGYN.

Agreed! It is the best. Except their NICU made me mad... I see Dr. Weinstein at Frisco Womens Health. He VBACed me and he's awesome!

Don't even get me started on the NICU- our experience because of one nurse prac (everyone else was great) that we ended up talking with the head of nursing and women's services. I loved the NICU nurses though!

I LOVE Betty Winford at the Special Beginnings birth center in Grand Prairie. I used her my whole pregnancy with DS3, and had a wonderful water birth there with him. I'm back with her for this pregnancy.

And Casie has used Betty and the birth center for all three of her little ones!

I honestly can not say enough good things about Betty and her Assistant, Amy! They even have a Facebook page that Amy monitors, so if you have a question, but you don't feel it's important enough to call in, you can post it to their Facebook and Amy answers it fairly quickly.. sometimes it's a few minutes, sometimes it's a few hours.. but my question has always been answered the same day.

I have heard that Harris Methodist has a FABULOUS midwife group that practices at the hospital. It's where high risk women who want a natural birth go. They are in the hospital, with an OB there in case something goes wrong, but other than that you get the midwifes to take care of you and attend your birth.

It's where Betty from the Special Beginnings birth center sends her patients who are high risk.

I also used Betty for my 2nd baby. I had a water birth. Betty was great!!

The midwife group at Harris is UNT Midwives.
