15 months!

I just need to share that DS2 and I made it to 15 months and counting! I'm so happy because I couldn't BF DS1 past 1 month old and regretted it. I didn't think I would ever have another chance to BF and then my little surprise came along. We are down to 3-4 nursing sessions and still loving our time together. :-)

Congrats! My DS is 14 mos... and I'm feeling like it's over. He'll still latch on several times a day, but he's really not nursing much. He even asks for it at nap time, but he pops on and off and he's only getting a few swallows. I think his straw cup is just way too easy for him that he doesn't want mama milk anymore. I wasn't ready to be done this early. DD nursed til 20 months and quit right at Christmas time - which was perfect because we were so busy, so she just one day didn't want it. And I was DONE a few weeks before where I was afraid I'd have to figure out how to cut her off. And then she just stopped. So, I expected to be nursing DS longer.

So happy for you !!!! After having a horrible experience with our twins I am just ecstatic to have hit the 3 week mark with no major issues and NO supplements!!! Praying we can be as successful as you and your sweet little one!
