can we talk beans?
We just harvested our black eyed peas. We let half dry in the pods for long term storage and picked the rest for fresh eating and freezing. Yum! That row and our kentucky wonder bean row have been plowed under and I have lots of questions for the next go round!
So, the soil is warm by now, what beans do you like for warm germination and hot days (we are in Alabama)? I was thinking about turtle black beans?
Can I just save a couple of pods for planting next year? Also, does drying them lose nutritional value?
