What to do...
Ok, let me start with a little history. I wanted to ebf dd1 but it didn't work out as planned. She was a very lazy nurser. I pumped like crazy and constantly worked with her. From birth she had to be supplemented. She did eventually learn to nurse but at that point my supply was just not what it needed to be to totally support her. I nursed as much has I could, tried to get my supply up. By 6m I was producing no milk and she was totally on formula. It sometimes makes me sad but at the same time I tried everything I could and she did get bm for 6m so I am proud of that.
DD2 on the other hand was born and latched with in 15min of being born and hasn't stopped since. lol. SO much so she wont even take a bottle. I'm pretty sure we'll make a year or beyond. My question is that with my girls being so close how is dd1 going to handle dd2 nursing when she's a toddler. Right now dd1 kind of gets that Nora is a baby and thats what babies do. She nurses her babies too. But say when Nora is 18m nursing and Allie is 2 1/2 there is going to be much less difference between them physically and mentally. They are going to be more like "equals in her eye". What am I going to do when that time comes? Does this make any sense?
