Searching removing common words

Hi,

I tried to search using the word "New" and it told me it was too common and was removed from my search. I don't care if it's common it's what I want to use to search by.

I purchased my son's entire newborn stash as new but washed or new but tried on or just plan new "I missed the newborn stage". I'd like to do that again, but having to go through every post because the search won't let me at least filter a little bit is annoying.

Is there anyway I can force it to use a word?

Thanks
Sierra

Re: Searching removing common words

"New" is an unsearchable term because it's only three letters, not because it's super common. I've tried searching by adding a * (wildcard) after a three-letter word, and although others have reported success with that, I've only ended up getting words that start with those three letters and not the actual three-letter word itself.

You can, however, exclude search terms that you don't want, by going to advanced search and typing it in like this:

Quote:
new* NOT newborn NOT newbie NOT newborns
The caps matter, otherwise it will think you're also trying to search for the word "not" lol.
