Re: SPD - symphysis pubis dysfunction
Oh yes it's awful, sorry mama! I had a referral for physical therapy with my DD and that did help a lot but nothing fixed it. It took a couple weeks after birth for me to get some real relief. I have it again this time but not as bad yet. I'm just using the techniques for my hips that the therapist showed me last time.

Re: SPD - symphysis pubis dysfunction
It hurts SO bad. Lifting one leg at a time, rolling over, walking. When you go to roll over put your knees together first and that makes a HUGE difference. I've had it with my 4 pregnancies although with #3 it was by FAR the worst. This time it's getting worse with each passing week though. With #3 it was so bad I couldn't walk and was in tears a lot from the pain.
Mine normally goes away right after delivery.

Re: SPD - symphysis pubis dysfunction
I am also having some discomfort (but not too bad yet). I say, chiro is worth every penny. It doesn't always keep the pain away an entire week, but I'll take 3-5 really good days over trying to "tough it out."
We also have "chiro" is priority mentality at our house. The alternative is a mommy that lays on the couch all day, which isn't good for the kids or for me either.

Re: SPD - symphysis pubis dysfunction
DDC-
ohh I seen your post mama I am there with you! I have been feeling this awful pain for months now. I can't figure out what it is and it hurts to do anything. Sit, stand, lay, anything. Very painful and I feel like my pubic bone is going to break in half. SO SO SO painful. A little relief is wearing my maternity belt but I have to wear it every day and not take it off for a day or it will take several days for the pain to go away once I wear it again. Not a lot I can really do but I hear a good warm bath may help.
