GMD prefold size change

Keep seeing on FSOT people mentioning the "old" or "new" sizing on the red edge medium prefolds. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Did they get larger or smaller and wen did this happen? We're the reds the only ones to change?

They used to have the difference listed on the website when they changed it but they may have taken it down now since it's been a while. Hopefully someone remembers the old measurements.

I read somewhere that the rise got shorter for easier stuffing. I don't actually have any GMDs though...

I dont know its all kinds of confusing. Figure this out, i have 2008 bbrown edge which are light brown and serged on 2 sides, i have an older stray dark brown edge that is serged on all 4 sides. I think the 2008 light brown edges are the same dimentions as rainbow shorts.

The old red edge (circa 2008) were smaller. The dimensions are about the same as the current yellow-edged organic. So bigger than the current regular small, but shorter and slightly narrower than the current medium red-edge size.

Thanks! DS is currently in yellow edge GMDs but for some reason mine are measuring a full inch smaller in each direction than the website says they should be. I have the bleached ones so maybe thats why theyre so small? They're getting harder to snappi now (which I prefer for EBF explosion containment) so I'm thinking of moving up to the reds or switching to Imagines. I'm just worried that there's going to be a huge jump in length. My yellows are only 12.5" and the website says the reds should be 15.5". That's a big difference! Maybe the bleached red edge will also run a bit smaller so the length difference won't be so drastic?

Are the websites measurements for unprepped? That really is a big difference.

No I was looking at the fully prepped measurements. They give both on the website.
