i feel like poo. and i had to sign out of the ER AMA bc the dr wanted to admit me and mackenna couldnt stay w/o another adult to take care of her

seven hours and 4 IV antibiotics later and they let me leave. i think i feel worse now

but seriously would i take dh and all 4 kids to the ER if i had an extra adult on call on a friday night to watch them?!?

That really sucks. When I was admitted after coming down with a uterine infection, they let me keep Felix with me for three nights in the hospital (although I think in the e/r itself I would have needed another adult like you describe). They booked me into postpartum for treatment. I did have to sign waivers to the effect that my baby was not a patient. If you end up having to go back (I hope not and hope you feel better), ask if they can do that for you.
